# Brick Breaker

> Bounce the ball, smash the bricks, and keep the paddle under control.

You fly the paddle from a little glass pod. Bounce the ball into a wall of colored bricks, angle your shots by where the ball meets the paddle, clear every brick and watch out for the steel ones that refuse to break. It is simple to pick up and tricky to clear without losing a life.

## How to play

1. Slide your finger anywhere on the screen and the paddle runs to it. The mouse and the arrow keys (or A and D) work too, all at the same top speed. Tap or press Space to launch the ball.
2. Hit the ball with the edge of the paddle to send it at a sharper angle.
3. Break every breakable brick to clear the wall and move on.
4. Don't let the ball drop past your paddle. You only get a few lives.

## Tips

- Hit the ball with the edge of the paddle to send it at a sharper angle.
- Aim for a gap at the side of the wall: a ball bouncing above the bricks clears them fast.
- Steel bricks never break, so don't waste shots on them.
- Keep the paddle under the ball instead of chasing it at the last second.

- **Not a scratch** (gold, 80 coins): Clear 5 walls in one run without losing a ball on any of them.
- **Combo** (gold, 60 coins): Break 6 bricks before the ball comes back to the paddle.
- **Regular** (bronze, 30 coins): Play 10 runs.
- **Superfan** (silver, 50 coins): Play 100 runs.
- **Smasher** (bronze, 15 coins): Break 500 bricks in total.
- **Super smasher** (silver, 40 coins): Break 5,000 bricks in total.
- **Mega smasher** (gold, 80 coins): Break 25,000 bricks in total.
- **Brick Legend** (diamond, 250 coins): Break 100,000 bricks in total. Earns the title "Brick Legend".
