# Lamp Flip

> Flip lamps until every one is dark.

Tap a lamp to flip it and the lamps next to it. Leave every lamp dark. Today's room is the same grid for everyone. Practice opens larger rooms as you clear them.

## How to play

1. Tap a lamp to flip it, and the lamps above, below and beside it. On a keyboard, arrows move and Space flips the lamp you are on.
2. The room is done when every lamp is dark. Order does not matter, and flipping a lamp again puts it back. Undo takes back the last flip.
3. To turn a lamp off, flip the one below it and work down the room. The top row is the choice that makes the last row go dark. The fewest flips earns a higher star.
4. Today's room is one grid for everyone, and finishing it once a day grows your streak. Practice opens larger rooms as you clear them. Pause stops the clock.

## Tips

- Flip a lamp twice and it is as if you never flipped it. Look for a short set, not a long path.
- Settle one row before the next. A lamp that is on is turned off by the lamp below it.
- Undo puts the last lamp back. The clock keeps running until you pause.
- Three stars means the fewest lamps, inside the time for that size. A longer set still clears the room.

### Is today's room the same for everyone?

Yes. Today's room is one 5 by 5 grid, from the date. Practice rooms are your own, and they get bigger as you clear them.

### What earns three stars?

Darken the room with the fewest lamps, inside the time for that size. Extra lamps still clear the room, for one star. Pause stops the clock.

### Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Tap a lamp to flip it. Undo sits under the room, so it never covers a lamp.

- **A court** (gold, 60 coins): Darken a court.
- **Forty rooms** (gold, 80 coins): Darken 40 rooms.
- **Month of lamps** (gold, 120 coins): Keep a 30-day streak.
- **Ten quiet** (gold, 80 coins): Darken 10 rooms with the fewest lamps, inside the time.
- **Two hundred** (diamond, 200 coins): Darken 200 rooms.
- **Lamp Warden** (diamond, 300 coins): Keep a 100-day streak. Earns the title "Lamp Warden".
