Tap to flap through the gaps between the sea stacks and icebergs.

You ride a puffin over a chilly sea, your scarf streaming in the wind. Every tap is a flap, and in between your puffin glides down, so the trick is a steady rhythm through each gap between the rocks and icebergs. The first gaps are wide and slow, then the sea speeds up a little and the gaps get a little tighter, while the sky turns from morning to sunset to a starry night with the northern lights.

How to play

1. Tap anywhere, click, or press Space or the Up arrow to flap. Every way of flapping gives the same lift the moment you press.
2. Your puffin falls between flaps, so tap in a steady rhythm to hold your height.
3. Fly through the gap between each pair of rocks or icebergs for a point. Don't bump them, and don't splash into the sea.
4. Keep going to fly through noon, sunset and the night. Your best score is saved in this browser.

Every way to play is equal here: touch, mouse and keyboard all move at the same top speed, so scores are fair whichever device you use.

Tips

• Find a steady rhythm instead of tapping in bursts: small, even flaps hold your height.
• Aim for the middle of each gap, so a late flap still clears the rock.
• Look ahead to the next gap while you pass this one, and drift toward its height early.
• The first gaps are wide and slow. Use them to settle into your rhythm.
