# Pumpkin Pileup

> Match three pumpkins to clear the patch before it piles up.

A Halloween puzzle in a moonlit pumpkin patch. Tap a group of three or more touching pumpkins of the same kind to clear it, and the rest tumble down into the gaps. After every few clears a new row grows up from the bottom, and the patch fills up a little faster as your score climbs. There is no clock, so take your time and look for the big groups: six or more score double.

## How to play

1. Tap or click a pumpkin to clear it with every touching pumpkin of the same kind, when there are three or more. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and press Space or Enter.
2. Each kind has its own color and its own mark (a triangle, a circle, a square, a star or a diamond).
3. After every few clears a new row grows from the bottom. The seeds under the patch show how many clears are left before the next one.
4. Clear six or more at once for double points. The run ends when the patch grows past the vine at the top.

## Tips

- Clear from the bottom when you can: the pumpkins above drop and often join into bigger groups.
- Save a big group for later. Six or more in one tap score double.
- Watch the seeds under the patch. When a new row is one clear away, clear a group near the top first.
- Keep the kinds apart in columns where you can, so the new rows meet groups that are ready.

Yes. It's free to play in your browser, with no download and no sign-up. Coins you earn are for fun and can never be bought.

### Is there a timer?

No. A new row grows only after a few clears, so you can take as long as you like to look.

Pumpkin Pileup is a Halloween game. It's here all through October and comes back every year, with your best score kept.

- **Full wagon** (silver, 25 coins): Score 150 points in one patch.
- **Mega pile** (gold, 60 coins): Clear 10 or more pumpkins in one tap.
- **Prize patch** (gold, 60 coins): Score 300 points in one patch.
- **Pumpkin royalty** (diamond, 150 coins): Score 600 points in one patch. Earns the title "Pumpkin Royalty".
