# Rumble Ridge

> Climb bumpy hills, grab fuel, flip for cash, and build a garage of wild vehicles.

A hill climb that never ends. Two big pedals drive a dirt bike over bumpy hills in the sun, in the desert, on the snow and on the moon. Grab fuel cans before the tank runs dry, scoop up cash, and flip for bonuses, but keep your head up: if the driver's head touches the ground, the run is over. Spend your cash in the garage on engines, suspension, tires, tanks and roll cages, buy nine vehicles from a tractor to a bathtub on wheels, win bronze to platinum medals on every stage, and take on a new daily ridge.

- Play: https://sidekickarcade.com/play/rumble-ridge/ (in the browser, phone or computer, free, no sign-up)
- Neighborhood: [Zoom Lane](https://sidekickarcade.com/category/zoom/index.md)
- Controls: Left and right pedals, or Left and Right (A and D)
- Best on: landscape screens
- Coins for goals: 3 per 1 medal steps, up to 12 a run

## How to play

1. Hold the right pedal to go, and the left pedal to brake and back up. On a phone, press the left or right half of the screen; on a keyboard, use Right or D and Left or A. Every way drives the same, with the same speed.
2. In the air the pedals tip your vehicle: the right pedal lifts the nose and the left pedal drops it. Land on your wheels, and flip for bonus cash. If the driver's head touches the ground, the run is over.
3. Grab fuel cans before the tank runs dry, and cash along the way. Farther runs pay more.
4. Spend your cash in the garage on upgrades and new vehicles. Win medals on four stages, and finish the daily ridge for a bonus.

## Tips

- Ease off the gas on a steep hill: spinning tires climb slower than gripping ones.
- In the air, the right pedal lifts the nose and the left pedal drops it: match the slope below you, so you land on your wheels.
- Fuel cans come every few hundred meters. A bigger tank gives you room to miss one.
- Tires help on steep hills and ice, the roll cage saves a rollover, and the engine helps most on the long climbs.

## Questions

### Is it free?

Yes. It's free to play in your browser, with no download and no sign-up. Coins you earn are for fun and can never be bought.

### How do I steer?

There is no steering: the right pedal is gas and the left pedal brakes and backs up. In the air the right pedal lifts the nose and the left pedal drops it, so you can land on your wheels or flip for bonus cash.

### How do I save my garage?

Your cash, vehicles, upgrades and medals are saved in your browser. With an account they follow you from one device to the next.

### What is the daily ridge?

A new stretch of ground every day, the same for everyone, in a loaner vehicle. Reach its goal for bonus cash, and keep your streak going.

### Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes. It's built for touch first, with two big pedals under your thumbs, and plays the same on a phone, a tablet, a Chromebook or a computer.
