Swipe between three lanes, jump, slide and sprint through town as the speed climbs.

You sprint down a town street with the camera right behind you. Three lanes, crates to hop, bars to slide under, blocks and rolling carts to dodge, and a line of golden bolts to grab. The street gets faster and the scenery changes as you go, from a morning market to a harbor boardwalk, rooftop gardens, a lantern night and a glowing foundry. Spend your bolts on gear, climb twelve ranks, win bronze to platinum medals on 24 routes, run a new daily route and collect trails that follow you down the street.

How to play

1. Swipe left or right to change lanes, up to jump and down to slide. On a keyboard use the arrow keys or WASD, and Space to jump. Every way of playing acts the moment you ask.
2. Hop the crates, slide under the bars, and switch lanes around blocks and carts. Grab bolts, and catch a magnet, a shield or a burst of speed.
3. Run forever in Endless, or take on 24 routes for bronze, silver, gold and platinum medals. A new daily route comes every day.
4. Spend your bolts on gear, climb the ranks and earn trails. Your progress is saved in this browser, and in your account if you have one.

Every way to play is equal here: touch, mouse and keyboard all move at the same top speed, so scores are fair whichever device you use.

Tips

• Swipe a little early: a jump or a slide you ask for just before you can do it still happens.
• Change lanes late, right before a block reaches you, for a close call and a bonus.
• Bolts in an arc mean a jump: follow the arc and you collect the whole line.
• Start with the magnet and the shield in the gear shop. They make long runs a lot easier.

How do I play it on a phone?

Swipe left or right to change lanes, up to jump and down to slide. Swiping is as quick as the keys on a computer, so a score means the same on every device.

Bolts are this game's own money. You pick them up on the street and spend them on gear: a longer magnet, a stronger shield, a bigger burst and more. They never cost anything real.
