Move the dots until no lines cross.

Drag the dots until no two lines cross. Today's knot is one puzzle for everyone. Larger webs open as you clear them.

How to play

  1. Drag a dot, or press Space to pick one and use the arrows. One drag or one nudge is one move.
  2. The web is clear when no two lines cross. A line that only meets another at a dot is fine. Fewer moves, inside the time, earns more stars.
  3. Today's knot is one puzzle for everyone. The first clear of the day grows your streak. Practice opens a larger web after four clears.
  4. Undo puts the last drag back. Hint moves one dot home and counts an extra move. Pause stops the clock.

Every way to play is equal here: touch, mouse and keyboard all move at the same top speed. A score means the same on any device.

Tips

  • Drag a dot a little way and watch which lines change color.
  • Any layout with no crossings counts. The built one is only a guide.
  • Undo puts the drag back. The move still counts.
  • A hint sends one dot home and counts a second move, so save it for a real knot.

Yes. Today's knot is one puzzle, from the date. Practice webs are your own, and they get larger as you clear them.

What earns three stars?

Clear the web inside the move line and the time for that size. A loop is 8 moves and 0:45. A web is 12 and 1:20. A knot, including today's, is 16 and 2:00. A snarl is 22 and 3:00. Extra moves still clear it, for one star. Pause stops the clock.

What if I get stuck?

Undo steps back. Hint moves one dot home. Neither one ends the run.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Drag the dots. Hint and Undo sit under the web.
