Walk the hedge to the gate.

Walk the hedge to the gate. Today's hedge is one maze for everyone. Larger mazes open as you clear them.

How to play

  1. Swipe or press an arrow. One swipe or one arrow walks one open cell. A hedge does not move you and does not count.
  2. Reach the gate. Fewer steps, inside the time, earns more stars.
  3. Today's hedge is one maze for everyone. The first clear of the day grows your streak. Practice opens a larger maze after four clears.
  4. Undo steps back. Hint walks one cell toward the gate and counts an extra step. Pause stops the clock.

Every way to play is equal here: touch, mouse and keyboard all move at the same top speed. A score means the same on any device.

Tips

  • A hedge blocks the step. Try another open cell.
  • The shortest path is the three-star line, plus a few extra steps.
  • Undo steps back. The step still counts.
  • A hint walks one cell and counts a second step, so save it for a long hedge.

Yes. Today's hedge is one maze, from the date. Practice mazes are your own, and they get larger as you clear them.

What earns three stars?

Reach the gate inside the step line and the time for that size. A lane adds 6 steps to the shortest path and allows 0:45. A garden adds 12 and allows 1:20. A hedge, including today's, adds 20 and allows 2:00. An estate adds 30 and allows 3:00. Extra steps still clear it, for one star. Pause stops the clock.

What if I get stuck?

Undo steps back. Hint walks one cell toward the gate. Neither one ends the run.

Can I play on a phone?
