A pyramid of 28 cards sits on the café table. Pair any two free cards that add up to 13, send Kings off on their own, and work the deck for the partners you need. Clear one pyramid and the next is dealt, worth more and stingier with passes, so the real question is how high a run can climb. Every deal can be won; whether it is depends on you.
How to play
- Pair two free cards that add up to 13 to clear them: Queen and Ace, Jack and 2, 10 and 3, and so on. Kings count 13 and go alone. A card is free once both cards overlapping it are gone.
- The deck's face-up card and the top of the pile beside it are free too. Tap the deck to turn the next card, and when it runs out, tap it again to turn the pile back over, as many times as the passes allow.
- Tap or click one card and then its partner, or drag one onto the other. Keys work too: the arrows pick a card, Enter or Space selects it, X turns the deck, U undoes a pair, H shows a hint and N ends the run.
- Clear the pyramid and the next one is dealt, worth more but with fewer passes. The run ends when no moves are left. Undo takes back pairs, never a turned card.
Every way to play is equal here: touch, mouse and keyboard all move at the same top speed. A score means the same on any device.
Tips
- When two cards could take the same partner, spend the one that frees more cards above it.
- Watch for a card sitting on top of its own partners: clear around it early, or it can never leave.
- On your first pass, note where the partners you need sit in the deck. The second pass comes back in the same order.
- Before you take the top card, use up the deck: clearing both pays a clean-table bonus.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. It's free in your browser, with no download and no sign-up needed. Coins you earn are for fun and can never be bought.
Which cards add up to 13?
Ace and Queen, 2 and Jack, 3 and 10, 4 and 9, 5 and 8, 6 and 7. A King is worth 13 on its own and clears by itself.
Is every deal winnable?
Yes. Every pyramid is checked before it's dealt by a solver that sees only what you see, so a win never depends on knowing hidden cards.
How many times can I go through the deck?
Three times for the first three pyramids of a run, twice for the next three, then once from the seventh on.
Is there a daily deal?
Yes. One pyramid a day, the same for everyone, with up to three stars for clearing it in par (no more passes than a careful player needs) without Undo or Hint.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. It's built for touch first and plays the same on a phone, a tablet or a computer, with tap, drag, mouse or keys.
